Some think BBW stands for Big Black Woman. Others think BBW stands for Big Breasted Woman. Still others think BBW means Big Buxom Woman or even Big Busted Woman. In actuality, the consensus for the term BBW in the plus size community is the generalized abbreviation for Big Beautiful Woman. This definition may seem on the surface to be simplistic but to a plus size woman this isn't always necessarily so. You see- the term BBW is very vague.

I receive many questions from plus size women on my bbw dating website, asking, am I a bbw? The complexity of replying back to this question is difficult because like beauty, it is the eye of the beholder. If several people were to see what this person actually looks like you might get several different replies if she is a bbw or not a bbw.
